I just got a letter of approval for sponsorship from Sport Compact PRO. They gave me a premier-level sponsorship with a $12,000 co-op.

    This is amazing.

    Here are the requirements:

    1. Attend a minimum of 4 events, show or race.
    2. Diligently pursue victory at all times
    3. Promoting at an event qualifies as a replacement for not showing my car.
    4. Vehicle must diesplay sponsor decals.
    5. Attending an event without displaying decals will result in termination of contract.
    6. Sponsored individual will pay for handling and special drop shipping for your projects co-op or free parts to and from Sport Compact PRO. Shipping charges are covered on in stock parts.
    7. Annual dues for sponsorship renewal and supplies is $60.00.
    8. Sonsored individual may only use co-op account towards the purchase of parts, labor and services at SCP or their authorized distributors and facilities.

Now I just need to get someone to be a scout for me. (which pays mind you) If anyone is interested, let me know.

There are so many companies that they carry parts for on this list they gave me. From AEM, Tokico, Skunk 2, Sparco, Autometer, Spoon, Mugen, MSD, C West, Tial, DC Sports, Fluidyne, to Toyo. There's 126 companies on this list, plus they can get stuff from other companies too!

A scout basically goes around trying to find other people to apply for a sponsorship. You get money for each person who applies.

Here's where you can apply for sponsorship:

I wouldn't mind being a scout. How do you get the money the 12,000 dallors do you have to win an event first or what?

No, it's a co-op. Basically they give you order forms and you pick out what parts you need and whatnot, then give it to either a local distributor or send it to the main office. You still have to pay money, but you only pay the wholesale prices and SCP will use that $12,000 to make up the difference in price between wholesale and retail. I don't have to win anything. I just have to show up at 4 events, locally or nationally, with their 2 2"x6" vinyl stickers on my car and take a picture of my car at the events with the stickers visable. That's really the only stipulations. Plus, after I've used 20% of my $12,000 co-op account I can get FREE dyno runs from any of their affiliates.

For instance, say I wanted to buy an AEM CAI. The retail price is $180, the wholesale cost is (estimation) $89. I pay the $89 and SCP will dip into my $12,000 account to pay the difference between the $89 and $180. So $91 would be subtracted from my $12,000 account, giving me $11,909 left. If I refer anyone and they apply for a sponsorship, they'll give me cash for each person. (like a scout)

I'm not sure if they give payout cash for winning events though. But you do get cash for winning an event anyways..

I hope this doesn't burst your bubble. I was also sponsored by SCP. They had a list of 6 or so contacts in various places over the states. Most of them close to east US. Well, to bring this to what I experienced, was that I contacted most of them. They were not too well priced. Most of them about what I could get for them here at local shops. Example, NOS 40hp shot kit was price 599, through only a couple contacts. Hell, even had to pay shipping. That was at the Sport Compact Pro co op prices. But, if you get much better prices. Let me know. I think it is a bogus outfit. Basicly got 80 bucks of my money. I wonder how many people they sponsored over the US. Probably enough to make quite a bit of money. I'm most likely not going to go with them next year. I'm sticking with my portfolios that I send to actuall companies for direct sponsorship. Like Venom, BFGoodrich, JGEldenbrock. I wish the best of luck, and do hope that they realy give you a great deal.

No, I checked up with all thier contacts and they couldn't even beat the other co-sponsors that I already have. No, I didn't get anything cheaper.
